Hi guys,
Recently I've been laborating with monitoring flow events in WMB6.1 running against a version 7 queue manager. Since I dont have the Business Monitor installed I'd simply like to test this feature by subscribing all events published on the topic "$SYS/Broker/mybroker/Monitoring/#" to a single MQ queue (EVENTS).
Now I've run into some problems setting up the pub/sub topology to work with the native MQ7 PubSub engine.
If I use regular broker pub/sub everything works fine, but I've had no success trying to register an MQ7 subscription on the same topic string with use of the MQ toolkit. My assumptions from the documentation that I've read is that the WMB should be able to send publications to an MQ defined subscription, but I have yet to find a good example on how to acheive this.
I've read (parts of) the MQ 7 migration guide as well as the MQ7 Pub/Sub users guide. My qmanager is running pub/sub in compatible mode, which I've understood is necessary for the two topologies to coexist.
Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction? _________________ IBM Certified Solution Developer - WebSphere Message Broker V6.1
