Hi
Do you have a detailed document/link to explain the topic message set ?
I wanted to know each and every small things about the message set.
I have:
IBM WBI Toolkit 6.0.0.2
AIX 5.3
MQ 6.0.2.4
Appreciate your help.

Good luck. I'll bet that even Kimbert has to look in the docs/source code from time to time.
Message modeling is a complex subject and is regarded as a black art by some pretty competent developers I know. They are just pleased when it works as expected.

Hey thanks for the wishes.
I worked on that and I too can feel the pleasure after successful creation of required message set. I just wanted to know the answers of most of the WHYs.

That is like saying 'please explain the details of quantum chromodynamics to me'. Actually, that would probably be a little easier.
Seriously, it is a big subject. The documentation could be a lot better, but you can learn a lot by
a) trying out the samples
b) getting into good troubleshooting habits ( For parsing problems use User Trace and Trace nodes, not the debugger )
c) experimenting
d) asking carefully-worded questions on this forum when you get stuck |
