Hi all,

I have a question:
Before increasing the instances of the deployed message flow in the respective execution group we should analyze the performance (time and space) level of the EG.
Could you please suggest me how can I achieve that ?

Broker : IBM WBI v6.0.0.6
AIX : version 5.3

Thanks
Varun Gupta

You can try refering "Collecting message flow accounting and statistics data" topic present in the Message Flow pdf for the broker.

It discusses how you can get stats on the processing of messages by broker.

I have not tried it myself so not sure on more details, but yes you can atleast give a try and maybe post the results for others to benefit from ...

Hope this helps.

For throughput performance information, check out the broker's accounting and statistics framework... look up mqsichangeflowstats in the docs.

Below is the link for the online information center for MBv6
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v6r0m0/index.jsp

You will get all the information regarding broker out here.

For Accounting and Statistics information, on the left pane select:
WebSphere Message Broker -> Developing Applications -> Developing Message Flow applications -> Coolecting Accounting and Statistics Data.
