You shouldn't. WMQ should be running as the local service id, not your id.

You should not be attempting this configuration.

There have been many posts on a) the dangers of using a domain user to install, configure or administer WMQ & b) how to use WMQ with a domain user once properly configured (i.e. with the service user)

if, somehow, for a reason that you've failed to identify and explain, you can't re-run the Prepare WebSphere MQ wizard, then you can use DCOMCFG to change the password that the IBM MQSeries Service attempts to use for authenticating it's service user against the domain.

I believe there are some options on amqmdain that may do this as well.

Whether you should be using a "real" user as the MQ service user or not is a separate question, and whether you should be using a user that has a frequently changing password that is known to any humans or not is also a separate question.

Hi

when i start the queue managers from the command prompt it is starting properly without throwing any errors.

But , when i stop/start from the MQ Explorer

below error is comking..

****************************************
* Command: amqmdain qmgr end Hub -i
****************************************
Initialization of resource 'amqmsrvn' failed, rc=0x8000401a
The server process could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect. Check the username and password.

exitvalue = -4

can any body suggest me what is happening

thanks

What is happening is you have an odd and possibly tangled web of authentications going on here. Either use the suggestions already posted to reconfigure your system, or explain the requirement that prevents you doing so.
