Hi there,
I've searched all over the forums looking for advice on MC91 on AIX V5.3, but do not seemed to find one that fits my query.
I've installed IC91 and MC91 on 2 AIX V5.3 nodes with HACMP as the failover software.
I've managed to clustered MQ and DB2, however when I tried creating a clustered Message Broker I met with an error.
When I entered "hamqsicreatecfgmgr", the script run and hit an error citing "mqsicreateconfigmgr: not found".
However when i go to individual node and run "mqsicreateconfigmgr" i'm able to create the config mgr.
I understand that i need to run ". /opt/IBM/mqsi/6.1/bin/mqsiprofile" before running the commands, but in "hamqsicreatecfgmgr" script,
it does not contain running the profile. Thus I believe "mqsicreateconfigmgr: not found" is correct.
Can anyone advice me on this? Seeking desparate help... Due to SupportPac 2, IBM would not help me on this... damn...
Thanks in advance for any help

And when you edited the script to source the profile before issuing the command what happened? Or did you source it from the the .profile of the user running the hamsicreateconmgr script as is more traditional? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
I actually solved it myself haha...
I reinstalled the IC91 scripts and let it be unchanged from the downloaded version. And it worked.
I believe its some permission issue as I change the owner to mqbrkrs instead. |

Weird....
Still, any solution is a good solution. Thank you for posting the outcome for the benefit of future posters. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
