Just a general call to any heavy Windows users out there...
Apart from the usual caveat of using power-house boxes, any potential gotcha's for message sizes of 30MB+ on this platform? I've only ever been in shops where max size was always < 4MB, so any steer would be much appreciated.
Thank you. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Not a Windows thing but remember to change the limit on all the objects the message will traverse through. All too many change the target queue size then wonder why the message never seems to make it across the channel..... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Largest I've been up to on the platform is 16MB with no issues, but the infrastructure was heavyweight stand-alone boxes, so would also be interested to hear anything in regard to virtualised servers too please. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
