I've installed the IS02 supportpac on a PC running MQ7 and can successfully see it in the MQ Explorer. My issue is that I don't have any menu options in the File menu (apart from the standard Exit).

Any suggestions what is going wrong

Did you change the MQExplorer to run in an Eclipse workbench?

My understanding is that MQ Explorer by default runs in an eclipse workbench. If you mean do I have the MQ explorer running as a perspective under the WMB toolkit then the answer is NO.
I see that the IS02 v3 PDF for using it with toolkit v601 and v602 has the following section on running MQexplorer with the toolkit.

Shell Sharing with Message Broker Tooling v601 and v602
You can shell share MQExplorer and IS02 with the Message Broker Tooling. You
must use the purpose built shell sharing package called is02shellshare from the
support pac website.
1. Copy the MQExplorer link file C:/Program Files/IBM/Eclipse
SDK30/eclipse/links/com.ibm.mq.explorer.link to your Message Broker Toolkit
links location C:\Program Files\IBM\MessageBrokersToolkit\6.0\eclipse\links.
This will install the MQExplorer within your Message Broker Toolkit.
2. Download the shell sharing IS02 package.
3. Using an unzip utility that supports large file names, unzip the file to any location,
for example, C:\MBAdminShare or /usr/opt/MBAdminShare This location will be
the installation location of the plug-in.
4. From your unzipped location edit the file:
com.ibm.etools.wmadmin.broker.explorer.link so that the location points to your
unzipped directory. (In this case path=C:/MBAdminShare or
path=/usr/opt/MBAdminShare).
5. Move this file to your Message Broker Toolkit links location, default location is:
C:\Program Files\IBM\MessageBrokersToolkit\6.0\eclipse\links.

The PDF for IS02 v4 for MQ7 does not mention doing this so I assumed IS02 was to run with the standard MQ explorer i.e Not with MQ explorer integrated into WMB toolkit.

Am I missing something ? Can someone let me know if they are using IS02 with MQ7 as satndalone or as intetgrated into WMB toolkit ?

Thanks !

No, that's not what I meant.

There's a Preference for MQ Explorer - "On Startup, show WebSphere MQ Explorer: [_] As a standalone application (recommended for new user), [*] In an eclipse workbench"

Yes - it's all working now !!

The MQ7 PDF file does NOT mention the option about switching between standalone and 'in an eclipse workbench'. It was only when I read the PDF for the MQ6 install did I see this option and then your comment made sense !

Thanks for your assistance !
