I've been using MQCONNXAny in VB6 client code so I could programatically set channel name and IP address without using the MQSERVER environment variable. If and when this code should get migrated to VB.NET, it appears from other postings that the Object Component Model (MQAX200) is the way to do MQ API. Looking at the MQAX manual, I haven't been able to see a way to do the equivilent of an MQCONNXAny, or get to the MQCNOCD. Sounds like I'll need to go back to "SET MQSERVER" ?
