Hi MQ Experts ,

I am getting following error in FDC in MQ 6.0.2.1 on Solaris platform. I searched in IBM MQ support pages but no use ..

In this case, we have weblogic 2+ managed servers connecting two different qms. Below FDC record is getting generated frequently @ 5min leading to fill mqpartition and queue managers are crashing.

Checking the probe id, Mr Google suggests it's an XA transaction problem, for which there's a fix in the version you're using.

Time for a PMR I think.

Move to version 6.0.2.5 there is a lot fewer bugs.
This is related to some type of XA transaction manager and possilbly a rollback attempt. Who is your transaction manager (what program) ? Have you set all the right flags on your session?

See, the first thing I'd check is if the database is running or not.

It's a problem on the BEA side, I had a post about this probably a year back or so. I opened a PMR with IBM, they pointed to the way BEA implements the calls and them not following the standard. Had our WL folks open a PMR and they were supplied a couple of fixes.

The frequency of the errors stopped, but I still get them occasionally. I assume that's because there are some rogue developers with older version of WL running on their machines.

I would ask BEA for a fix. I know it exists. Look through my previous posts or search in here for the ProbeID and you'll see the fix numbers I posted.

Thanks Toronto_MQ. WL team confirms that patch (CR253284_81sp6) has being installed. But still errror persists and FDC are occuring at same frequency . Any suggestions before I open PMR with IBM.
