Hello all,
I am trying to fund a solution to see if i can use a LDAP server to register MQ queue manager which in turn froma websphere i can use mulitple LDAP entry lookup for a failover situation.
Is there any better solution for a failover configuration other than windows or MQ clustering?
Looking forward for best fit suggestions from the experts. |

Don't use WMQ Clustering for failover; read the many, many posts on the subject in this forum to see why.
MCSC works well on Windows for failover. I'll let someone who knows more about LDAP comment on your other suggestion. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Thank you Vitor.
I am trying to do mainly for the AIX platform. Also, we currently use MSCS for NT server which is working out real good.
Waiting anxiously for your comments on LDAP setting. |

Don't hold your breath. Like I said, LDAP is not my thing & I'll leave a discussion of your proposal to others.
There's equivalent software to Window's MCSC for the AIX platform. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
