Hi,

We use MQ Servies version 5.3 on windows.

Is there a facility in MQ Java APIs to read only messages with a certain priority from a Queue?

Priority is not a selection criteria for a message. messages can be processed fifo or by priority. If you process by priority, you can not pick up a specific priority, you always get the highest priority first and within the priority fifo.

if you want to do that, you have to code it on your own, but i suggest to use one of the selection fields for messages, instead of the priority.
