hey, well, i tried to install MQ7 client version on 2 operation systems: Windwos 2008 32 bit and Windows 2008 64 bit.
no luck, the log says almost nothing... (something bout permissions, tho i'm the administrator).
i'd be glad for some suggestions.

We'd be glad of some more information. Even if the log says nothing it might be nice to tell us what.
Also a brief search of this forum (or indeed the documentation) will reveal that being the administrator doesn't mean you've got all the permissions you need. Certainly if you're logged in as Administrator you may find a very specific issue. Likewise if you're a domain administrator, using LDAP, Active Directory, etc, etc

um, the installation maybe curropted... we installed the MQServer + client there and it works.
i'll get a new installation from IBM.

We have also installed MQ7 into W2K8 in 32-bit and 64-bit VM environments. The installation works fine when all the steps are followed. As stated above, please provide any information on errors. Be sure the check event logs too.
Did you install Eclipse??? You won't be able to complete the MQ install until you complete the pre-requisite Eclipse install. |

Sort of ignore some of prior post. Somewhat distracted when I typed that.
Are you installing as a Domain Admin or Local Admin and have you tried disabling the User Account Control? That rather annoying pop-up of elevated permissions can cause problems in some scenarios or lead some to believe there is a permission problem when there isn't. |
