Hi, I'm trying to use Aggregate Nodes try to combine multiple messages from different sources. Are aggregrate nodes designed specifically for this purpose?
And I'm doing an example on Chapter 6, "Aggregation of messages", of "WMQI : Using Control Center". I have a couple of questions of that. Is these anyone having done this before? Can we discuss about it?
Thanks,
d |

Hi,
Wht u wanna know abt aggregate nodes.
Aggregate node is basically for first sending n messages after receiving one message and then combining output of all the n messages to one message.
Regarding the use of it, It depends. You have to make sure how u want to handle failures. I mean it is quite wonderful, if u know all the msgs will finally make up to aggregate control node and all no error wud be there in any of the msg coming. But say if one of the msg looses, then how u want to handle those situations u have to very carefully plan it.
Hope this helps.
Thanks and Regards,
