Parallel TCP/IP is NOT supported on Tandem NSK 5.1 at this time.
Cheers.

Is someone kave experience with using Parallel TCP/IP with MQ SERIES 5.1 on TANDEM NSK (problem / limitations ...)
Thanks for your response |
We have 6 NSK (s74000) with paralell TCP/IP and we don't have any problem with V51 and V2201. We have connected 500 MQClients (in a test environment with 2 cpus), sending 1 msg/second (not persistent) per client of 2KB without problems.
With more channels begin the problems. |

I use Parallel TCP/IP with v. 5.1 without any problems. We use persistent messages with over 1 message per second with no problems. We have 8 CPU 74000 on G06.11 with latest IPM's (SVU?) as of last May.
Our Development uses it on a 2 CPU 7400 with G06.16 with latest IPM's. I would recommend you try it and see if it works for you. |

Well, the question is how are you all able to use PARALLEL tcp/ip. You might have configured all by yourself and using it. Because even now, the SUPPORT for PARALLEL TCP/IP is not yet there. It is suppose to come soon.
Cheers.

Well:
We don't have anything in MQSeries. The Comunications group only defined into the TCPSAM the ports (for all the applications, & MQ is an application for TCPIP). |

LuisFer,
You are right in the sense that there is nothing MQ as far as Parallel tcp/ip is concerned. But when i meant SUPPORT not available, i was stating that in the event of an error or a failover situation if MQ does not behave correctly, IBM would not support you right away.
The support is coming soon, i guess, but as of now, it is not there.
Cheers.

That is good news. Where did you hear about this? And is it only for a certain release?
Thanks. |

The news would make it to the web soon.
The only version that still has support in the new year is V5.1. And that is supported for parallel tcp/ip.
Cheers.
