Hi All,
Some people in this forum may get angry for my question which has already been asked by other people. I have deployed the bar file and got a successful deploy message, however, when I see in the Event Log I get the following error message.
BIP1536S: The Configuration Manager was unable to register for internal subscriptions with broker BROKER01.
Although the preceding deploy operation was successful, a subsequent attempt by the Configuration Manager to register for internal subscriptions with broker BROKER01 was not successful. This means that Message Brokers Toolkit and Config Manager Proxy applications may not show the correct status of the resources assigned to broker BROKER01.
Look in the system log for messages that indicate the cause of this problem. Correct the cause and redeploy to this broker. If this problem persists, contact your IBM support center.
I have searched in forums and followed different suggestions like deleting broker, broker database and recreated etc.. but of no use. Actually, I have created a new broker and configuration manager with respective new qmgrs, however, I am facing the same problem.
I am really tired of doing exercises which did not give me any success. Please help me to overcome this problem.

I have seen this message. It happens when the configmgr is using a service Id that is not defined to the broker. Say the configmgr is running under mycfgmgr and broker is running under mybrk but on the machine the broker is running mycfgmgr is either not defined or not part of the mqbrkrs group...
This has consequences as the configmgr is not able to register correctly to the broker's events you are not able to see the subscriptions in the subscription table and other things.
It is best in a domain thet the service id under which the configmgr is running is a member of mqbrkrs group on all the machines the broker is running too.
Note the group name is from memory. You better check it against your own installation. (hint: the broker's service id needs to be a member of that group).
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
