Hello,
We have some issues with WMQ authorization and it might be related to how our company have configured WMQ.
Today the applications (with WMQ client) have to be executed as an authorized user in WMQ to be able to get access. This causes us lots of problems, e.g. when you have a .NET web application that are using XMS and the web application are running as "Microsoft Service" and also might need to access mulitple queue managers.
What we would like XMS to work like JDBC is working, the application specifies user credentials on connection level. I know that XMS specifies credentials on Connectionfactory but the documentation says:
Quote:
....If you are connecting to WebSphere MQ, and you set the XMSC_USERID property of the connection factory, it must match the userid of the logged on user. If you do not set these properties, the queue manager will use the userid of the logged on user by default....
So...
- How would you recommend to hande this issue (your best practicies)?
- What reading do you recommend in this area? _________________ Best regards
