I installed WMQ client version on a windows box. I invoke iKeyman from the mqhome\gskit\jre\bin directory and when I open my kdb from my V6 client I get the following message in a dialogue box:
Quote:
The CMS Java native library was not found. Please make sure the SSL component required by your product is installed and the library path is defined correctly. Consult your product documentation for further information.
Is there something I need to install and configure to support iKeyman that isn't part of the WMQ client install in V7?
Please note unlike my previous V6 client install my V7 client does not have the strmqikm.exe in the bin directory. I execute ikeyman.exe from the gskit\jre\bin directory.
I obtained the clent from the MQC7 support pac.
Any suggestions on how to get this to work will be appreciated.
Can anyone confirm if I need to install the IBM JRE V5.0 to ensure ikeyman works correctly. I can't find a definitive statement in the doc that states this. It is provided as a prereq component.
Ok, reread the V7 doc carefully and nowhere does it refre to a JRE V5.0 prereq.
The doc does refer to strmqikm which is not installed on my V7 client. Can someone confirm when they install the V7 client if they got the strmqikm installed.
I also noticed that the start->Programs->WebsphereMQ->IBM Key Mgmt menu item is not installed with my V7 client.
