hi all,
I m planning to migrate MQ.
Currently I have MQ v 5.3 , I m not sure which version to migrate to.
MQ v6 or MQ v7.
MQ v6 might be stable by now , so that would be my obvious choice, but will go out of support by 2010.
But what about MQ v7?.
Is it safe to migrate to MQ v7 at this time, Also i will not be using any new feature of MQ v.7 or MQ v6. _________________ Thimk |

I suggest MQ 7.0 as i personally have been using it and faced no issues till now...
ofcourse if your application is having other pdts of oracle, bea etc then u might want to go for 6 since v6 connectivity is well checked with different versions. _________________ Cheers |

I would assume the meaning is "directly engaged with the product on a day to day basis"
Much as I am, and it works fine.
And what's wrong with hobby projects in your home or garage?? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I am an MQ Admin, therefore I have no friends

We could be. I don't take my meds as often as I used to. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
