Hi i m santosh.
i have created cluster named "SampleCluster" with 4 QMs..
QM1,QM2,QM3,QM4..
QM1,QM2 full repositories..
QM3,QM4 partial repositories..
QM1,QM2,QM3 are located in the MQ of mc/1..
QM4 was located in the MQ of mc/2
when i create a cluster in mc1 using all of these 4 QMs..
in the m/c1 Under queue manager clusters folder..
"SampleCluster" is created and i m able to see the all 4 members of cluster..
when i switch to MQ of m/c2 there also i m able to see the "SampleCluster"..but it is not showing the memebers of cluster all 4 QMs .. and icon is displaying like "queue manager cluster without source provider"..
and when i try to add a QM from m/c2 its not accepting
will it be like that only ..??
can anybody help me out from this..
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by:

QM4 was located in the MQ of mc/2 |
and:

.. and icon is displaying like "queue manager cluster without source provider".. |
Can you please elaborate further?
Check that all cluster channels are running correctly, from the console do DIS CLUSQMGR and check you have none listed as SYSTEM.TEMPQMGR, which indicates connection problems. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Yes - m/c 2 only contains a PR and hence doesn't have information about the rest of the cluster it doesn't want/need/use.
Read the Clusters manual to obtain this and other useful information _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I made a slightly unwarranted assumption that the cluster was set up correctly and working.... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

...and I should have added, do that in all the queue managers fingers too quick on the keyboard - again! _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
