Am just starting to use 6.1 and stuck already!
Trying to create a Server project, but there is no 'Show All Wizards' checkbox on my 'New Project' window although the HELP says that there should be. HAs all this stuff changed in 6.1? |

Why do you need a server project ? To put bar files under ? I believe you can create a server project in the server perspective. |

Server perspective?
I remember that in the 6.0 Toolkit one had to select 'Show All Wizards' in the 'New Project' window in order to see and be able to select 'Server Project'. I am sure that 'Server Project' must be lurking in the 6.1 Toolkit but I cannot figure how how to get it displayed. Is there anywhere else that I can force 'Show All Wizards' from?
Surely someone else has come across this problem and resolved it! |

Do File...New...Message Broker Archive
There is a dialog with a Project field and to the right of it a "New..." button
Select this button and this will create a new Server Project for you. |

I had tried that. It creates a 'project' under 'Broker Archives' but not under 'Domain Connections', which therefore made me wonder if it was a valid server project. The 6.0 practice was to create the Server Project under 'Domain Connections' and it would then show also under 'Broker Archives'. The 6.1 Help quite clearly states indicates that the same should happen under 6.1. I have run into problems before when BAR files were added to a project that was not a Server project because some of the required builders were not present. |

At this stage have raised a PMR to find the answer. |

As far as I can see there is no difference between 6.0 and 6.1.
If you're creating a new broker archive, then this is created under Broker Archives, if you're creating a new domain connection, then this is placed under the Domain Connections. |

If anyone is interested ... PMR response!

You no longer need to explicitly create a server project yourself, a
server project is automatically created when you create a domain
connection.
This is a documentation issue, and should be handled by Hursley ID team.
