Is there any easy way (ie command line) to purge all info in the
Buidltime database. Im finding that not having the ability to select more than one item in buildtime to delete cumbersome.
Thanks

Rude:
I believe that there are command line commands that will allow you to Delete the database. Once its deleted you can recreate it and load it with the bootstrap information.
I've not tried this on a Buildtime db that is part of a configuration that includes a Runtime db, but I do this all the time with "Standalone" BT databases.
Since I work on so many different projects, what I do is have a separate BT database for each project. Generally they all point to the same RT database.
I can create these with the Configuration Utility (Specifying Buildtime database only). Then I can remove the config (i.e. delete the database) and then readd the config (again Buildtime only) which creates the new BT db with the bootstrap information.
Hope this helps. _________________ John McDonald

I have never used them but you may try these
1. fmcbdcdb : On Windows
2. fmczrdb : On Unix platforms
to create/delete databases.
It looks like we can create/delete the BT/RT DB independent of the config utility.
There are similar utilities to add a Queue Manager to a configuration,

Venni, I dont think they are utilities to be used directly. Is the usage documented anywhere? I believe they are the executables used by the configuration utility to 'create QM', create RT and BT databases', etc....
I think you should use the configuration utility fmczutil to remove and add your BT and RT databases. I do it whenever I need to change my database locations.
