What is the best way to confirm that a cluster queue manager is running OK and it is still a member of the cluster? We are using MQ on a linux server, MQ version 5.3 ?
We find sometimes the cluster looses its membership from a cluster during failover.
Are there simple command(s) one can run? _________________ Thanks in advance |

Obvious question 1. - Is this an HA setup?
Obvious question 2. - If yes, does the Virtual IP Address correctly 'transfer' to the fail-over node?

Obvious Answer 1. - It's all in the Cluster manual _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

See the commands below

How was this fact determined? Assuming you meant the queue manager loses membership of the cluster, I assume there was some way this was determined - how was this done?

DISPLAY CLUSQMGR
DISPLAY QCLUSTER |

Fixed to what level? And why not v6?
What software is doing the failover? Or what manual procedure? Are you failing over the queue manager or just starting an identically named one on a failover server? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
