Hi,
I am wondering what special objects I need to create in a QMGR in cluster when an application outside the cluster communicate with another application outside the cluster thru this QMGR in cluster?
Correct me if I am wrong, the current setup for this QMGR inside the cluster is:
Transmission queue,
Alias queue to the reply-to queue
reply-to queue
another Alias queue to the receive-from queue
receive-from queue
Is there anything wrong and anything missing for this type of communnication?
Another question is, in this cluster since I created another QMGR, called it as QMGR2, should I just simply duplicate the configuratoin from the (master) QMGR?

This sort of set up is explicitly described in the Clusters manual.

It depends what the queue manager is intended to do. There's no requirement to have the queue manager duplicated, but you certainly could just duplicate it.

It depends what the queue manager is intended to do. There's no requirement to have the queue manager duplicated, but you certainly could just duplicate it. |
But don't use the same CLUSRCVR channel name. Invent a new one for your new qmgr. |
