I used command DLTMQM to delete MQM on iSeries. the MQM library was deleted not the directory in IFS. DSPMQM and I still can see the manager. Then I manually deleted the directory and tried DLTMQM again, I got message An INI file is missing. Could someone help on this. Thanks in advance. BTW, I'm using MQ V6.0. |

Did you read the WMQ System Admin (iSeries) manual for how to delete a qmgr? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

After I removed my qmgr information from mqs.ini file, DSPMQM again and the manager is gone. |

If someone takes my name off my mailbox that doesn't mean I don't live there anymore!
I've never seen an iSeries, but from what I understand on this point it is fairly similiar to regular UNIX. All you did was remove a reference to the QM that the DSPMQM command uses to see what QMs are on the system. The QM and all its resources are probably still there unless you or someone did something else. Properly deleting a QM cleans up that ini file. _________________ Peter Potkay
