Inside MQ Exploer why does it display the Listener being stopped when it is actually running or I would not be able to see my remote server. Even when I do a refresh. I noticed this after I install fix pact 4. |

Did you start a listener with runmqlsr? WMQ Explorer knows about listener objects created with DEFINE LISTENER mqsc command, not runmqlsr. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

I intially create a script that defined the listerner, but I had to restart it using runmqlsr command. Is there a work around or another way to see the Listener runnig in MQ 6.0.2.4 Explorer? |

To see a listener object (created with DEFINE LISTENER ...), the Explorer and mqsc commands.
To see an instance of runmqlsr, ps -ef|grep runmqlsr (UNIX), or Windows Task Manager. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

If you look at the commands on Unix (ps -ef | grep runmqlsr) you may notice that there is an additional form of running runmqlsr see the -r flag.
Anyways if you need to restart the listener you should do so through runmqsc start listener.... this way the listener will show...

If you select the Listeners folder in the navigator view (and make sure you have pressed "show system objects"), then you can see all listener status by selecting the Status context menu on the Listeners folder.
