Hi
I have created SAP in and out adapter connections attached in adapter to SAPInput and out adapter to SAPRequest nodes.
While deploying the bar file it is giving error
Connect to SAP gateway failed.
I checked with SAP team, they said SAP server is running fine.
How I will know where it is going wrong.
Is it problem with message broker or SAP? |

Hi
I have created SAP Adapter using new adapter connection and while creating adapter connection, no errors were thrown.
I got the below error while deploying.
Reason: Connect to SAP gateway failed hostname '?' unknown
The message flow node failed to register with the adapter component to receive events.
Why message broker not able to recognize the hostname as SAP team said their server running fine? |

Following are the mandatory properties/attributes,
SAP Host name
SAP System number
SAP Client
User Name
Password
SAP InterfaceName
hope all the above are correct,
did you configure the broker properties, if not do that _________________ Regards

you have to configure broker engine
get in to Info center and search for SAP Input node or search for
Preparing the environment for WebSphere Adapters nodes

Hi
Library files have been setup and broker engine has been configured.
Actually this bar file has been deployed successfully before and message broker received sap messages and send response back to SAP.
For the new bar file, I did a modification of connecting SAPInput node all failure and catch terminals to compute node.
While deploying this new bar file, we got connect to sap gateway and unknown hostname errors which are not related to terminals connecting changes I did.
SAP didnt do any changes to their server.
Since it is giving unknown hostname I was thinking is this because of any RFC transport/network issue. |

if you try with out connecting the terminals its working isn't it?
while connecting the failure and catch terminal to one comput node its not working,
what did you update in retry mechanism attribute? Please let us know this _________________ Regards

I tried removing connecting failure, catch terminals to compute node.
Then also it throwed the same error.
Retry mechanism I have mentioned is Failure.
I'm mainly concerned with Connect to SAP Gateway failed error. |

I have saved ip address of hostname in message broker host file.
Broker didnt throw the error while deployment.
It worked fine after this. |
