hello all,

i had problem with default configurator previously which was resolved with help of you guys.
now i am having issues with creting the config manager ( not the default config manager).

the problem is when i create a new one it is creating with using derby database instead of the oracle database that i have.

can you any one please advise what i am doing worng here.

i am learning this one at a time. so please correct me if i am not doing right.

We're generally not going to provide you with direct walkthroughs of each and every step of learning WMB.

That's called training, and most of us prefer not to give that away for free.

In version 6.1, you can not and do not need to use any database at all for the ConfigMgr. It does end up using Derby, but you should not think of that as a database at all... it's just "the configmgr private repository".

So you won't be able to get it to use Oracle, don't need it to use Oracle anyway and as long as the ConfigMgr starts and accepts connects, you have have done everything correct.
