Hi All,

I have a mapping node for which i require to write the ESQL routine for one of the target elements as I have to copy the entire input XML message to the field.

I am not sure whether i can access the InputBody and OutputBody in the Routine that can be written for a Mapping node. If not, then please let me know how can i map the entire input XML message to this target field.

Please note that the reason behind using the Mapping node is that, I am creating a Web Service SOAP request message based on the provided WSDL file.

Waiting for the replies...

Kindly go through this

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v6r0m0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/ar25140_.htm

Click on the element and in the value section update as below
esql:<Fill function name>($source/<Parameters if any>)

Thanks for the reply...

What i understand from "esql:<Fill function name>($source/<Parameters if any>)" expression is that i have to call the <Fill function name> Function esql routine for the $source/<target element name>.

however, i also want to know whether i can access the InputRoot and OutputRoot trees in the Function that i am going to call in the value section. Because, when i right clikc on the expression and select the "Esql routine", in the target pane, i can only see the routines written outside any module (i.e., in a default schema) and i dont think we can access the InputRoot and OutputRoot here.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Sounds awfully like you need a CDATA field with the xml message in it.

I would try to solve this in a compute node and not in a mapping node...

Enjoy
