We have a copybook with thousands of elements. How will be the broker performance on importing into a message set and parsing the incoming MSG against the messageset(which will be huge). Is it feasible/right way of using broker?

To parse the message you will have to create the message definition using the cobol copy book. However if you do not want to parse the entire message and then you could set the parser option on input node to on demand for partial parsing.
