The following scenario is resulting in a message going to the dead letter queue with MQRC_UNKNOWN_ALIAS_BASE_Q on the BRIDGE queue manager.
Put message onto Q1 on APP queue manager
Queue manager APP is in a cluster A1, along with BRIDGE queue manager.
Q1 is an alias queue pointing to queue Q2. Q1 is in cluster A1 and defined on BRIDGE queue manager.
The BRIDGE queue manager is a member of cluster A1 and E1.
BR queue manager is a member of cluster E1.
Q2 is defined as member of cluster E1, defined to queue manager BR.
My understanding is that the BRIDGE queue manager, being a member of both clusters would send the message to the Q2 queue on the BR queue manager.
I can put messages onto Q1 and Q2 on the BRIDGE queue manager and they arrive on the Q2 queue on the BR queue manager. However, if I put a message onto Q1 on the APP queue manager, the BRIDGE queue manager complains that it can not find the base queue and puts it on the DLQ.
