I am new to mq on vse and I am trying to create a sample cobol program to document the usage of mq in cobol
the docs are very limited for vse
we have only client installed in vse and using mq server on remote linux server
I downloaded/modified the sample cobol program, but see only the definition of the qmanager
I presume the channel/target server address/port has to be defined to find this server
I see some samples were they give this as parameters, when starting the compiled program
can it also be done in the program ?
we tried both methods, be always get rc=2 reason code 2059
qmanager not found....
I checked at server the settings and listener and these are correct and started..
any doc to be pointed to or any help would be nice
