Hi Kiran,
I tried to import one DTD in message set and then tried to check in to shared repos. at this moment i got the error.
after this i cannot check in anything to the shared repository in one go.
i need to check in indivisual messages/messages sets and other things manually.
well as i am new to WMQI, then i restated broker, config manager and CC but still the error persists.
thanks,
Ajit. |

Hi,
Check the user permissions and make sure the user has the access permissions to read and write into WMQI directories.

Try to increase MaxJVMHeapSize for your Configuration Manager and Control Center. _________________ Kiran

I increase the JVMheap size for config manager to 256mb and control center to 512mb but still the problem was there untill i deleted the
C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ Integrator 2.1\Tool\repository\private\MFXMQI01\MFXMQI01
directory and restarted the broker and config manager.
at this point i thought everything is fine and i was able to chekin checkout everthing smothly but now i lost all my SIMPLE TYPEs like STRING AND INTEGER.... I noticed this when i tried to create a test messageset and Elements in it.
now how do i bring back my simple types though i tried to replace the MFXMQI01 directory back.... but still i cud not get those simple types back
does the simple types local to workspace or it is something to do with MRM database.
thanks

Ajit,
I don't think MRM simple data types are stored into local workspace. Is your Host name and queue manager same (MFXMQI01)? Is this problem happening on config mgr box or control center box? Could you try running Control Center on a different machine and see if the simple type is showing up. _________________ Kiran

Hi Kiran,
Yes my host name, Broker and Qmanager all are of same name.
i.e : MFXMQI01
The simple types are not showing up on the configmanager box where i have one control center as well as control center box which is a one more different box.
I tried to put the old directory MFXMQI01 back but the problem still persists......
Thanks,
Ajit. |

Hi Ajit,
Try creating a new workspace and then connect to the same configuration manager, it should recreate these directories if they don't exist.
Pl try creating a new message set with CWF layer and see if the standard data types are showingup. _________________ Kiran

thanks kiran,
I tried clearing all CC workspaces connected to this configManager and tried to construct new message set..... i cannot create new message in it as it does not have the simple types in it.
anyways i have dbs backups so i will try to drop all DBs and delete broker and config manager and recreate everything ... let see what happens now .
I will keep you posted about the outcome.
Thanks,
Ajit. |
