Hey,
Just curious to know wheteher is any difference in any other developer & MQ developer i saw requirment for MQ developper many times on jobs site, but not sure what exactly this profile is. Could any one hel me out to understand role of MQ developer.

well, you need to be aware of the API available with MQ and how to use them with various programming languages supported by MQ.....though you may not require administration experience, you might need to be aware of functioning of mq..will help you to write mq programs using API

I strongly suggest that MQ developers take an MQ system administration class to understand what mq does, what sysadmins do, and what a sysadmin can do to undo what an application programmer wants to accomplish.
Likewise, I suggest that sysadmins take an MQ application programming class to understand what programmers are trying to accomplish and what programmers can do to undo what a sysadmin has done.
