Hi,

I tried the flow (fileinput-->emailoutput) for sending a USS file to notes mail as an attachment. The USS file is full of EBCDIC chars (but can be readable in USS). The notes mail is getting the attachment with EBCDIC code, which can't be in readable format.

So, I planned to use Compute node in between FileInput node and EmailOutput node, which converts the file to ASCII format.

How the inputroot to be CASTed in the esql?

Also note me how to read the element into EmailOutput Node.

How the esql code look like for this task?
