I am getting BIP1890E: Operation Cobol Importing couldn't be completed. Invalid Path. Enter Valid path for Config Manager.

What is this error. I have my Control Center on my desktop and config manager on an AIX box. Should the copybook I am going to import be on the Config Manager box? Or should I give any access rights to any user on my desktop files?

Please let me know at the earliest.

The path has to match exactly. For example if the copylib is on the C:\COBOLcopylibs\copylib.txt on the box where the Configmgr is and you have that drive mapped as D:\COBOLcopylibs\copylib.txt on your machine with the Control Center it still has to be coded on the import as C:\COBOLcopylibs\copylib.txt. The path has to be the path on the box where the configuration manager is located.

Can you explain how your config mgr is running on your AIX box?
Configuration Manager must be on Windows NT, the DB2 database can be on any supported platform.
