Installed MQ on windows 2003 server version 5.3. When we try to start the Qmgr we are getting the following error. Can someone help me to solve this issue..
EXPLANATION:
The service was unable to start qmgrName/Queue Manager. The error message
reported was as follows: WebSphere MQ was unable to display an error message
7017.
ACTION:
Use WebSphere MQ Services to investigate why the service could not begin. If
recovery for this service is active, MQ will attempt to recover.
AMQ7017 Log not available.
Severity: 40 : Stop Error
Explanation: The queue manager was unable to use
the log. This could be due to a log file being missing or
damaged, or the log path to the queue manager being
inaccessible.
Response: Ensure that the LogPath attribute in the
queue manager configuration file is correct. If a log file
is missing or otherwise unusable, restore a backup copy
of the file, or the entire queue manager. _________________ Regards, Butcher
