Hello:
We have encountered the following issue on our production systems when using Blockip2 version 2.6.9 on Red Hat Linux 4.0 and WMQ version 6.0.2.3.
We have the Blockip exit setup to accept 50 connections on a server conn channel. When the application opens the 17th connection they get “connection refused” and the log for Blockip shows that Blockip thought it was the 51st connection when it really was the 17th.
Has anyone seen this type of problem before? Does anyone know what BlockIP is looking at to determine how many connections are using that particular server conn channel.

I'd suggest using runmqsc or the explorer to look at some of the connection details. Is it possible that you are actually creating 3 connections (by not closing 2 of them)?
