Does anyone have the nmqsput.cs program from the samples library compiled as an executable for Windows. I have to do some testing. If it is compiled against the v7 Client Libs would be grate but I could use the v6 Client Libs all the same.

Hi Bobbee,
Just run the bldcssamp.bat script in the samples directory to create the executable.
If csc is not in your PATH then add the following line to the top of batch file:

| SET PATH=C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727;%PATH% |
Of course, if you want to use DotNet stuff then you need to have DotNet v2 installed.

you know, I wish every answer in the world was like that. Jeff had already given me the exe but I did what you suggested and ho-wa. I created my own executable. This is a keeper.
What this is all about, for anyone who cares, is that there was a perception that during a connection failover using the CCDT the subsequent queue managers would take up to 24 seconds each to fail to because of timeout. I have been running tests and I did not see this in my tests. I needed to verify the dotnet stuff. That is what they are running with. This came up clean tooo. about 1/4 second failover time. |
