We have two full repositories and some remote partial repositories. The remote repositories and one full repository are on the same network and can connect to each other, whereas the other secondary full repository is not on the same network. Only the primary and secondary full repositories can connect to each other. Does this cause any problem if the primary goes down?
I have few queries regarding the MQ cluster
1. What is the use of secondary full repository?
2. Whether it is necessary to bring the secondary into same network as the primary and other remote nodes are.
3. Whether secondary repository takes the charge if primary for some reason is down?
4. What do the following lines say?
If you use the MQOO_BIND_ON_OPEN option on an MQOPEN call to force messages to be sent to a specific destination, and the destination queue manager is not available, the messages are not delivered. Messages are not routed to another queue manager because of the risk of duplication.
