Hi!
I have a WAS app. listening on queues on a queue manager. SSL is disabled on the MQ server channel side. Using MQ 6.0.2.3 and WAS 6.0.
Anyone know how to disable SSL on the Websphere App. Server side?
Under Security-->SSL, all I have are the default SSL settings which came with the installation. When I restart WAS, I get this error on the MQ side:
19/08/08 12:14:53 PM - Process(22424.1980) User(mqm) Program(amqrmppa)
AMQ9665: SSL connection closed by remote end of channel '????'.
EXPLANATION:
The SSL connection was closed by the remote end of the channel during the SSL
handshake. The channel is '????'; in some cases its name cannot be determined
and so is shown as '????'. The channel did not start.
ACTION:
Check the remote end of the channel for SSL-related errors. Fix them and
restart the channel.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! _________________ MQ 6.0.2.3

Figured it out. Removed the cipher spec from the queue connection factory. _________________ MQ 6.0.2.3
