Hey,
I just made some mistakes, i deleted my broker database (Oracle DB). I'm working with WMB 6.0 and WMQ 6.0, and the database is Oracle 10G.
I'd like to know what is the best thing to do to recreate properly the broker?
I thought about creating again the database, then create the broker user in the database so that the mqsideletebroker command works, then create the broker again with the mqsicreatebroker command. Is it good or shall I operate differently? |

It won't work, simply cause the mqsideletebroker commands is not working. It's telling me that the broker can't connect to the database, which seems normal because it doesn't exist anymore... |

You could delete the broker manually (if that is something you want to do). Or you could create another db with the sane name as before and then execute the command to delete the broker. |

Yes i finally tried this as you explained. I created a DB with the same Oracle Instance Name and i created the broker user on it, then i tried the mqsideletebroker command again and it worked.
Thanks for help folks! |

You could have simply deleted the broker form the registry if you are on windows. |
