Can't upgrade our MQ 5.2 TO 5.3 On our Win2k(SP2) server.

The install immediately bombs and doesn't generate an error log.

Could this be a permissions problem. I'm performing the Install under the local administrator account. Server is not part of a Domain.

I can't find the details of the problem, but I remember something about an error with a SupportPac being previously installed. You're supposed to set an environment variable to get around it. When I find the details, I'll post them here.

MQ for Windows. It will also be fixed in any future refresh of
IBM Websphere MQ for Windows V5.3.

I'd try the Local Fix and see if it helps.
