I have a commercial web app and I want to 'automate' some of the input screens. Is there a way to use WID or some other tool to create a wrapper that basically fills in the form automatically and submits the page?
Thanks. |

Guess you missed my follow up post in the other forum apologizing for posting in the wrong place.
It's also rude to critisize others without getting all the information first. |

If you posted in the wrong forum... don't repost. We (admin) will move it to the right one when we get to it. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

I'll remember that for the future. So, do either one of you have any USEFUL information to post or are you just here to critisize? |

There are some java api's that were originally designed for unit testing web apps, but may well be useful for your purposes: check out cactus, apache http client, httpunit and selenium.
There is nothing in WID to do this directly.
BTW adopting a slightly more humble attitude when posting will get a better and more considered reply |
