I have two clusters
WINDOWS - which has 2 FR's of its own
LINUX - which has 2 FR's of its own
I wanted communication between the two clusters through a gateway queue manager but i donot want this new qmgr to be a FR. (which i can do by creating a Namelist and specify REPOSNL attribute)
As i didnot follow the naming convention TO.qmgrname.clustername.. i ran in to trouble while creating CLUSRCVR channels.. i reconfigured all as per the above advice and all worked well..
This scenario was described in clusters manual... I hope i made myself clear this time... |

...If you say a FR, it ought to be part of both the clusters.(atleast thats what the definition of FR says). |
There is absolutely no reason that an FR for one cluster 'ought to be' part of another cluster. Please post where you read '...at least that's what the definition of FR says...' _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

You might want to use the CLUSNL attribute of cluster queues and clsrcvr chl. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

You are right (one FR for hub setup and one FRcould be for a Esb setup),but it is silly to have a seperate FR's for only two clusters. _________________ *forgetting everything * |

There may have been valid business reasons for the original separation, requirements change. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
