I have written an XPath expression in the mapping (this XPath works when I tested it on a freely available XPath expression tester). But when I put this on the mapping node's taget, there is an error - "Invalid expression syntax".

I believe the default mode is to support code that works both in ESQL and Xpath. But this can be altered in the Toolkit's preferences. I have changed the preferences to remove the check for "Use XPath and ESQL Equivalent Grammar". Is there anything else I have to do ? Is there a similar function to evaluateXPath() in mapping node ? After reading the documentation, I believe that all XPath 1.0 expression are supported in the mapping node.
