Can anyone pls let me know if we can issue select query with joins using ESQL. I don't want to go for Passthru.

well.. you may end up using passthru if your select query is complex.
otherwise if its a straightforward joins.. yes you can do it without passthru and i read some where it is more efficient if you dont use passthru.
