Our deveoper call us that they have started a user trace of their flow on the toolkit and they now need to see the trace output.
If my understanding is correct , we have to use mqsireadlog followed by mqsiformatlog to get the trace output in readbale format.
According to the info center, mqsireadlog required the user to be in mqbrkrs group. But we donot want to give mqbrkrs authority to the devlopers. Is my understanding correct ? Is there anyway to get around this so that the devloper can read their user trace output without calling us the administrator ? Any experience to share ?

Have the unix admin give them sudo for that command...

Your understanding is correct. On UNIX systems, the user must be a member of mqbrkrs group for Changing, displaying, retrieving trace information.
