What is the difference between support pack and fix pack?. As far as I know a support pack is extra functions added on the existing MQ, where else a fix pack is a version, like 6.1 and the will be next 6.2 and so on to resolve MQ problems. |

Support Pack? -- you mean SupportPac, a trademark held by IBM, as listed at http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27007197
For MQ version 6, a Fix Pack is a non-zero version number at the lowest level, eg. 6.0.2.1, 6.0.2.2
Compare this to a Refresh Pack, which is a version number change at the 2nd lowest level, with a zero at the lowest level, eg. 6.0.1.0, 6.0.2.0 _________________ Glenn |
