The target cline didnt work for me,..
I set on the Queue property

From the Websphere Admin Console

Websphere MQ Resources -->Webspehere Queue Destinations -->Sample Queue --> Target Client --> "Drop Down Box: Select MQ"

You need to verify in the corresponding xml config file that the setting took. I remember some early version where that was not the case. We had to go manually and change it.

In any case you should be able to see the actual value in the config file after reloading the was admin app. Remember this does not take effect until after you have bounced WAS.
