Good old pub/sub...again!

http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0710_titheridge/0710_titheridge.html gives an excellent overview of exactly what the problem is I am experiencing (orphaned subscriptions).

2 questions.

1. Cleanup on Solaris based queue manager does not work. I have manually removed the orphaned subscription but Cleanup does not clear the SYSTEM.JMS.ND.SUBSCRIBER.QUEUE eventhough the applicable Correlation IDs are not subscribed anymore.

2. Can the removal of orphaned sunscriptions not be automated somehow? I feel very uncomfortable telling a customer that this is the process to remove orphaned subscriptions.
